Zaya’s priority is not only to educate her clients, but to remain educated in an ever-changing industry. Her educational background includes programs which are considered to be advanced in the field: Master of Science degree in Financial Planning, a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration—Finance from the University of Northern Colorado and the completion of the CFP® Certification Professional Education Program. With over a decade of experience in the industry, she is constantly pursuing new educational opportunities. Most recently her studies have centered on financial psychology and understanding client biases and helping clients mitigate those biases.
Physical and financial health are central to Zaya’s life, forming the foundation for both her personal and professional choices. Her unique upbringing in Russia greatly influenced her perspective on money, instilling a deep sense of discipline and financial responsibility. She prioritizes clean eating, staying active, and finds peace in the simple pleasure of a morning cup of coffee. Zaya also finds joy in creating flower arrangements and has a love for both nature and animals. As an animal lover, she has volunteered and fostered cats with the Humane Society of Weld County and the Fort Collins Cat Rescue. Her most recent philanthropic endeavor is serving as a mentor with Partners Mentoring Youth, which consists of a weekly commitment to spend time with a child who may be facing challenges at home or school. This role allows her to offer guidance, encouragement, and consistency- values she strives to bring into every area of her life.
Zaya was selected as an honoree of BizWest’s Boulder Valley and Northern Colorado 40 Under Forty. It recognizes 40 emerging business leaders in each region, under 40 years of age, who are making a mark on their communities through professional success and volunteer activities. Her other recognitions include the company receiving first place in Best Financial Planning by Best of Greeley 2019 (our category has not existed since that year), as well as being named one of 2018's up-and-coming financial professionals by The Greeley Tribune and Business Connect.
